Magento 1 – GDPR Cookie Chooser Module

Startnet GDPR Magento 1 Module

This module uses Magento's built-in Cookie Restriction Mode to display options to allow a customer to disable Google Analytics tracking cookies. It also allows you to add your own custom Javascript code to disable marketing cookies.
Essentially the module will override the standard cookie notice and allow your customers to choose whether to allow GA or Marketing cookies on the site.

This should enable your e-commerce site to comply with 2018 GDPR laws.

To use, go to System -> Configuration -> General -> Web -> Session Cookie Management.
Make sure "Cookie Restriction Mode" is ON.

To install :
1) copy files to the Magento root folder.
2) login to Magento admin.
3) clear any caches. Log out of admin.
4) log back in to admin again.
5) Extension should now be installed! Go to System -> Configuration -> General -> GDPR to check.

Currently tested and working with Magento 1.9.
